Originally from the UK (ex G0FKQ), I can often be found on the CW portion of most of the HF bands, and as conditions are improving you will find me more and more on 20Mts (often around 14.007).
Occasionally you will also work me on SSB and the Digi-Modes.
This fantastic hobby has been a passion for me since I was first licensed in 1984 at the age of 15. I have owned many HF radios over the years, with one of my all time favourites being the FT-1000D from Yaesu. I sold one last year to buy the FT-2000 and really do enjoy working this radio.
My station currently consists of an FT-2000, SP-2000, SP-1 Mic (Studio Projects), MD-100 Mic (Yaesu), AT-1000 Autotuner (LDG), 3 ele Yagi (at only 25' high) and a 135' flattop wire.
I run an Intel iMac (Apple) and love it. It gives me the best of both worlds, Mac OS X (undoubtedly the best OS out there) and Windows if I need some decent radio apps (like AWH Master Commander) etc.
